Tim Creany, M.D.
Tim Creany graduated with his MD from Georgetown University in 1996. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Rochester in 1999. He has been in clinical practice since, working for 2 years in private practice before joining the Colorado Department of Corrections and the National Health Service Corps in order to pay off his student loans. For most of the last 14 years he has also been working part-time as a Hospitalist and in Utilization/Peer Review for Colorado's Quality Improvement Organization. He has extensive experience in Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Utilization Management and Quality Assurance in the Colorado Department of Corrections. He served as the interim Chief Medical Officer for Colorado Department of Corrections. Throughout his career he has made a concerted effort to stay abreast of advances in technology and their possible application in medicine.
